the alpha price kinda

i talked to a salesman today while our oil was being changed
he said  that the alpha was gonna be around 3grand  higher than the X
around 46k or 47k .. he didnt hear that from hummer but overheard that from some of the bosses
so i asked about milage ... he said he was thinkin around 12 or 13 city and  14 to 16 highway
 
not that any of that is correct
its just what i was told today  

I hope anyone in their right mind or left mind will not try and get the first Alpha when it rolls off the motor carriage...wait till the end of the year and the prices will be more realistic.

I can neither CONFIRM or deny this price rumor, but I doubt it would be that much higher than the X.....if I had to guess...-- isn't 12 or 13 city what y'all are getting now?

he said the alpha was going to be like the X ..fully loaded + the price of the V8
thats why it was gonna be  higher than the X
and im gettin 16  mpg with stop and go country driving
now i think the guys w/ the  35 are gettin 12 to 14 mpg 
 

MPG and pricing seem to make sense, probably in the ball park anyway.  The next question is how much will the H3 pick-up cost when it's released with the V8?

Now thats what I'm whating for, that or with a diesel!

For what it’s worth I was up at my Dealership last week and was told that GM had not released the prices on the V8 yet.

I like the motor it says HUMMER
