Another rookie joining the club. Bought my 06 H2 about 2 weeks ago and so far it's been great.

Anyone have web links or input for cargo accessories? I'm planning a long road trip and could use some extra weatherproof storage.

Thanks.

Ya know Wayne..You made me think..I can sincerely welcome all these new people and I DO really enjoy seeing their New HUMMER...I mean I could sit and watch a parade of HUMMERs come down the road, and each one would be a thing of beauty in my eyes..Am I alone in this sort of appreciation of this vehicle?

Your right Dennis. They are not anything like a Dodge, Chevy, or Ford truck. Most all look alike and kind of blend in (although I would take a 2008 F350).

You just don't see many Hummers, and every one you do see is different in some way. I think that the way the Hummer was introduced has a lot with the feelings towards it. It's rare, different and a little "in your face" kind of vehicle.

I only hope that GM does not make a line of them like the liberty. If that happens, you will see one every where you look and the Hummer will lose it's exclusivity.

Dennis....you're definitely not alone in this appreciation. I think a Hummer is truly a sight to behold. A parade of then would take my breath away...I've often thought of checking into whether there are group drives. I've seen them with other vehicles, like mini coopers(which are not a favorite of mine....but to each their own), jeeps, VW's....etc. I think it would a real rush to have a huge bunch of them and just DRIVE!

it's funny, i saw 3 H2s yesterday on my way to the video game store.  even though they were all pavement princesses, it was cool seeing them.  of course, they were all pricks, and not a single wave-back.  i hate H2 owners around here, bastiges, every last one of them.

i took my daughter to get the new final fantasy, whatever the number is.  since the original Casltevania, i have no interest in the new video games.

I can't say I hate all H2 drivers..I do have a freind who owns one ( H24fun )..but I have to agree with you..the other night I was on my way home from work..driving on a back road..speed limit 40 and I was going around 50..and to my surprise..flying up behind me was an H2 and wouldn't back off..trying to pass me..go figure.

The area of Miami I live in has more than the average number of Hummers and I've only seen a few idiots. Aggressive drivers come in all shapes and sizes, but the bigger the vehicle, the more aware we are of them.

I don't really consider owning a Hummer to be part of a friendly club. Not in this town. So any respect or attention spent on other drivers is sure to get an indifferent response. Smaller town or city, different story.

I had an H3 loaner while some work was done on my truck and I felt like it actually had more leg room for the driver and better visibility. Overall it was a good comfortable ride.
