Just a thought:

Some forums have a good guy/bad guy section to leave positive or negative feedback from purchases they made in the for sale section.  This might help when looking to buy parts from a forum member.  I have been burnt a few times buying from car forum members over the years and I'm always nervous if I'm buying from a newbie or someone without any previous parts that have sold.

This is why I like a good guy bad/guy section:

Sad to say but it seems the more expensive the cars, the less the owners care.  I run a side business buying and selling used parts and the internet is making it easier for people to screw each other.  I'm about to close up shop because it is hard to keep eating bad parts.

I usually ask for a picture a certain way just so I know the other person has the part in question but without laying your hands on the part, you always take a chance...

I assume you paid for insurance through UPS, why not file a claim...price of one wheel will cover the whole amount you paid.
