What is the best place to mount 10's?

not much room under the seat, you'd never get an enclosure with the right proportions under there.  pretty much have to add a box to the cargo area or have one custom built to go on the bumps for the wheel wells.

Just get some 12`s and mount them into the cargo area of the car, have all the wires, amps, capacitor and maybe and extra battery under the seat

I have 2 amps and a 10" with a custom made enclosure under the back seat!!!

how big's the enclosure?  the specs that came with mine give the cubic inch enclosure requirements for both ported and non ported boxes, and i couldn't see how either would fit under the seat.  is your's ported or not?

ported means it has a tube in it, like a porthole on the side.  gives a bit sloppier bass response.  non ported is tighter, although i've never been able to notice a difference between the 2 with the stuff i listen to . . . . . .

Me too!! The 10" Boston Sub I have sounds GREAT for the ROCK/METAL I listen to!!

Makes my side and rear view mirrors vibrate!!!

interesting, if i cared enough i'd look it up to see how big it is.  i built the enclosure for my son's 4Runner - 2 12's, and used the design info that came from RF.  the stock system works ok for me so i don't see a need to change it.  unless simply being loud is the goal, spending tons of money on car audio is a massive waste.

I just wanted a LOUDER, CRISP Sound!!!! I think with my deck, I spent around $4000.00 on my system. Not CrAzY money!! 
 
It's Pretty quite in those Mall Parking Lots!!
