Has anyone done a seperate sub?
Looks like under the 2nd row is where it could go.
Thanks

only if you're never going to fold the back seats, or don't care if they don't fold flat.  i think that area is too narrow for a sub big enough to fit an H2 anyway.  I've seen a pic of one that was custom molded into the rear panels above the wheel wells, but i can't imagine it was cheap.  i think the best option, performance wise, would be to accept the loss of cargo space and put an enclosure behind the back seats.

I'm not sure about the wagon, but the only place in the SUT is under the second row.  I did see a pic of an install in Trucking mag (i think). They had the sub attached to the bottom of the right back seat and the amps under the left.

didn't think of that, but the volume needed for an H2 sized sub still wouldn't allow you to fit it under the back seats.  of course, in a truck you could probably go with a smaller sub.  i want my 2 12" subs back that i had in my 4runner.

A single 10" will fill in the bottom end a little better than the stock system. I'm not looking for real slump, just a bit more.
There is a kit that Stallion has which looks nice but at $1200.00 is a bit steep.

If you remove the trim pieces underneith the seats you should get a bit more potential for volume.  A friend of mine did that on his Avalanche.  Another option is to lift the seat using blocks.  I haven't done it on my H2 (yet) but it worked very well on the Avalanche, those were 3/4 inch blocks I believe.
