Why does hummerforums.com feel the need to use spyware on it's site? I don't like
http://www.doubleclick.com/ spying on my internet travels and I don't like
http://www.google.com/ logging everything I do. Of course I block all of these SPY sites which slows the forum down but it's worth it to not be tracked by marketers. I would hope that someday you will remove the spyware from the forum and give us back our privacy!

Funny thing is that everyone is being tracked online by everyone and there is no privacy on the net...one of the reasons that the internet is a double sided blade

I am not paranoid, I just know that there are people constantly monitering the net and a person has to watch out on what he does on the net

As long as you have a good spyware sweeper it is not a real problem

So wait - it's ok for you to know and post my IP, my ISP, my version of windows and Browser, but it's not ok for anyone to track you? I'm not worried and I don't really give a sh1t you can find that stuff out about me, it's just a little hypocritical

Sculptor: That little App does NOT show your ISP to anyone but YOU. Each person who see's that little application only see's their IP. When your computer talks to the server it has to provide that information to make the connection. It's jaut how computers work. I can't see your IP and you can't see mine. Each person only see's their own and each person is given the right to believe I know much more than I do about them.

Don't know how you would do it any different. Every site has some form of tracking software.

Pretty lame answers to a legit question but I can play the game.
I have blocked:
- ad.doubleclick.net One of the worst adware abusers on the internet and a blatant abuser of spyware.
- ads.peer39.com another lame adware abuser
- 2mdn.net
- internetbrands.com
- googlesyndication.com Google has been under fire for compiling user databases and targeting adware for spam purposes.
- shopzilla.com C'mon, can you be more blatant than this? What kind of website are you running here?
- bizrate.com What does Bizrate have to do with HUMMERs?
- google-analytics.com What the*** is Google wanting to analyze?
Just keep adding the tracking cookies boyz, I'll keep blocking them. My next project is blocking your headers, banners and web bugs.
