I am looking for the speaker sizes for the H3, I read the H2 I don't know if they are the same size or not. 6.5 for the front door 5.5 in the rear i think? Also, how do you get to the tweeters? Thanks for the help in advance! Any user recommendation's for replacements? Oh, I have the stock single cd player.

i had my front door panels off when tinting the windows and i thought it was a 6.5. the panels come off easily, so you can check. the "a" pillar comes off easy too-just pop out the oval "airbag" plastic piece and unscrew the bolt, then it just pops off.

6.5 front and back...you can go to 6 3/4 if you want.....they will fit with no mods.

It takes a little modification due to the factory (made in mexico) speaker housings.

it does?!?! how do you mean? I had no problem installing them in my h3 and about 15 h3's from my customers. The factory hole is more oblong than round so the bigger 6 3/4 size will fit...now if you are looking for an air-tight seal for better sound then yes some mods will need to be made...but this is true for damn near EVERY car/truck on the road.

depth will not be a problem....I haven't found one too deep....but then again you aren't really asking the question to be helpful.

Impy is correct.......Lots of options I also used tons of hush mat and put the crossovers in the doors......Tons of room.
Next will be an amp for the front 6 speakers and a rear bandpass JBL box with another amp for the 12"s

so were the crossovers hard to do, i have been thinking of doing components up front, but not too sure yet, and would it be worth it going the route of components over just regular speaker swap out? The factory speakers suck, pretty muddy sounding!

i have components in all 4 doors...I just got a deal on them from my old distibutor...I would definately do components in the front and coaxils are good enough for the rear doors. Component crossovers are easy as plug and lay...they are almost all tuned fromthe factory...you just plug in the wires from the radio or amp, then plug in the wires for the mid and the wires for the tweets...that's it!!! I have my crossovers under the dash so there is no chance they will ever get wet if my h3 decidesto take a bath in a river or something

That was a smart place to put yout crossovers I thought about the water after I sealed up my doors,
Import.... I need your input on the placement of 2 amps .......1 550 for the fronts and a 700 for the woofers all are JBL I want them in the rear cargo area.
