Got ya Gunner.  Round tube looks good, just wondering about square and aluminium.
Hilljob:  no need for a back up camers, just strap your little man up there with a walkie talkie, tell him to keep an eye out in the parking lots.

hed love that,i think your vision is just as good as those w/ 35's,i mean you have to lose some, but those who want things like this arent worried about vision so much

i have a feelin that when i make a roof rack,it will look very similer to this basket, its really strong, yet looks good, and is just the right size

I had no idea you planned to make a roof rack...now that i might very well be interested in...so are you going to take orders?

as far as orders,no ,not right now,i have to prove out 1 before i will make 2,i dont have alot of time to work on these things,so i would hate to have people waiting,,maybe i will let you know when i build one,im sure gunner wouldnt mind sharing the r&d bill, although,i dont plan on selling them for as much as everyone else, mine will definetly be under 800,not sure about anything under that, but i will not charge anymore then that

I can do some stuff with wood in my garage... but cutting/bending/welding metal, that is just totally cool as hell.  I wish I had that skill.  I have absolutely no need for one of these, but after following this thread, I think I'd buy one anyway just because they look so cool.

Great job.

thanx...metal is pretty forgiving un like wood, you can always add to metal and it looks the same.....it does take some skill,i have been doing stuff like this for years......its really cool to me for the fact that i am building parts for hummers......not everyone can say that
