In case your like me and didn't know much about the Hummer H4, the HX is the concept precursor to the H4 which comes out in 2010. This is an excerpt from an article I read earlier today...
"But don't be fooled-just because small and fuel-efficient are mentioned together, the HX was built to wheel with a high-performance V6. We were recently invited to the Hummer studio in Warren, Michigan, to get a look at the upcoming concept in the flesh and confirmed much of what we have already reported-with a few new details. From firsthand experience, we can tell you the HX will have 35-inch tires, front and rear lockers, a removable hardtop panel system, a slant-back roof, and a super-trick four-wheel independent suspension featuring coilover shocks and jounce shocks. Originally thought to be built off the H3 platform, the HX uses a unique chassis, and since Hummer announced all vehicles in its lineup will be biofuel-capable by 2010, it is a safe bet the HX will run off E85."
- Four Wheeler Magazine
They also mentioned they will have a full report on the HX after the North American International Auto Show.

seems a little dated, since the HX concept was announced along with an E85 announcement.
All Hummers will be E85 capable very soon...
Take off the huge tires, some of the chrome, the winch....that should be pretty close to production H4.

I heard somewhere that it will be available in 2 or 4 door models. Is that true?

That info came as part of a post on TopSpeed.com that was completely bogus...all signs point to 2 door.

I love the 2 door look, not so sure I would like it in a 4 door.

Too early for that news. Anyway, I'm in favor to that vehicle-will-be-biofuel-capable thing. Well it's good for environment though. Did they mention to build 4 doors? I like 4 doors and in
autopartswarehouse I saw different kind of doors, they're good quality.
