. . . in my Alpha last week.  "Great", I thought.  "Now I have to take it to the dealer."  Not that my dealer is bad, mind you.  On the contrary, he's excellent.  I just hate the process of leaving my car at any dealership and waiting to find out when I'm getting it back.

So, I thought I'd check the fuses this afternoon after I washed the cars and, lo and behold, it was a blown fuse.  It was a relief until I started wondering if there's a short in the circuit somewhere or the circuit is under-fused.

Anyone experienced this problem?

No but I thought I had a problem. The passenger heated seat was not working but I found out that the seatbelt MUST be connected for it to work. I was sitting in the passenger seat without using the seatbelt and the heated seat would not work but on the otherhand, the drivers heated seat will work without using the seatbelt! Go figure.

So far no issues with the Alpha. Seat heaters work great.

The H2 lets you heat the passenger seat when the seat belt is unbuckled, Hell it beeps once and never comes back and the indicator disappears, kinda weird that they wouldn't have the same "safety features" incorporated

Fuses blow...

It might not be a short but you should check and see what your voltage is with the truck at idle...  if it is too low then the amperage is higher and could be close the rating of the fuse...

IMHO...
