I did the SIRGM-1 from Crutchfield. Simple install epsecially if you have XM already in the vehicle. Just unplug the XM receiver behind the glove box and plug in the Sirius one. Done.
If you dont have XM and have the base model radio like i did you just use the other wire harness they give you and it takes an extra minute to run a power wire.
It works VERY well and I highly reccomend it!

Thanks HummerMike, I appreciate your assistance, but I'm asking specifically about the '07. Numerous sources have told me that Hummer has changed the audio systems/radios in the '07's and the conversion kit you used (and I want) may not be compatible.

Call crutchfield and ask them. They will allow you to return it if it does not work out. They have great customer service.

Good call, but I already spoke to them and they didn't know if it would work. They told me that until they have an H3 come in and they try to install it locally, they won't know. Customer Service/ Tech was very helpful but just didn't have the info. Same with the other vendor. Once my truck is delivered (ETA 15 days), I'll just have to give it a shot.

I'm installing the Sirius GM kit in my 07 tonight, I'll let you know how it goes. My radio looks the same as the 06's so I'm not too concerned.

I brought my 06 into the stealership tonight for service and sat in an 07, the radios are the exact same thing. Service guy told me they are the same part number also.

Thanks, that is great news. I wonder why both my dealership and Crutchfield couldn't give me a definitive answer. Well, the end justifies the means so it is SIRIUS (HardAttack/ Buzzsaw/ Octane/ Howard Stern) on my radio.

Intslled the Sirius GM kit on the base cd player in my 07 last night. It works like a champ. Sounds great, and all the controls seem to work great. The only hangup I had was in the activiation. I could only get 184 and 255 with the seek buton until i turned the tuning knob. It took a few minutes to figure that out. I mounted the antenna above the driverside windshield opposite the onstar antenna and ran the wire inside through the hood pull cable grommet.
Does anyone know if any of the H3 radio options play mp3's on cd? Also, has anyone instaled the USA Spec ipod adapter? I want to know if the song name is displayed on the radio.s display.

This is just great news! Thanks for keeping me (us) updated. I LIVE by my SIRIUS and cannot wait to install it.

Not a bad choice either! Been a Sirius customer since shortly after it was first made available .. I can't imagine listening to AM/FM anymore ...

Does the touchscreen work? I have the factory XM with the Nav/Touch Screen and I already have Sirius in my other vehicles, so I want to stay with Sirius. But I'm nnot sure how it will work with the touchscreen like the XM already does. Anybody know? I have a 07 H3X.

I may see bout SIRIUS one day. But I took advantage of the 77.00 for a year of XM for now. I have sirius on my tv dish and like the music selection they have.

My understanding is that if you have the NAV/Touch Screen, the SIRIUS integrates just like the XM and works on the touch screen; toggle through the NAV/CD/SIRIUS/ETC with the MODE button. I'll know 1st hand soon enough. Good luck.

Well I tried installing the SIR-GM1 tonight but no luck.
I did not get the factory XM but figured there may be a wiring harness to connect to with the SDAR cable. I also could not find the XM antenna lead. I figured the lead would already be there and the factory XM antenna lead would have just be laying there unconnected. Boy was I mistaken.
Does anyone here work for a Hummer dealer that can let me know what the dealer would add to the factory stereo (I have the CD/DVD touchscreen navigation) as a wiring harness if I got XM as an add on, but then I would just rip out the XM tuner and put in Sirius. I just need the wiring harness so all I connect with is the SIR-GM1 SDAR cable.
I really did not want to use the SIR-GM1 T-Harness because I was not sure which power wire to connect to. Any ideas?
Also, which is the best place to ground to the chassis, that is accessible and within the distance of the short wire they provide with the T-harness ground wire?
