Question for the Mods

I am wondering if it is okay or against forum rules to post a link for the March of Dimes, which I will be walking in April 27th.  My nephew was born with lissencephaly and now me and my family are trying to do our part in helping to prevent birth defects.

I was about to say that the admins would have to make that call but it looks like they just did.

if it's something for a cause like March of dimes or any other major charitable organization and is posted by an active member I don't have a probem with it. Now if someone signs up just to post a link...then we'll remove it.

 Hi Everybody ,
   I will be walking in behalf of my nephew Gabriel he was born with lissencephaly   Gabriel is my first nephew and or niece and he's my little buddy.   He was born with allot of challenges to face ahead of him, but this doesn't change how I feel about him.  On April 27th I will be walking in the March of Dimes to raise money for the fight against birth defects.  This money like every other fund raiser does not directly benefit any one individual, but million of people out there.  I am hoping that you could contribute and help by sponsoring me in this walk.  Anything you can do is very much appreciated and I would be very thankful for.
