I am torn between this and the Kenwood. I have always had Kenwoods, last being the DDX-7017 and the 510 GPS. Loved it. But I sold my Avalanche and have stock lux with the Monsoon package. I am upgrading in the next few months. I would like to keep the sub, maybe change it out with a better rated one, but still retain the stock location.
 
What is the benifit of the Pioneer over the Kenwood? I AM TORN!!

I would also like to keep the monsoon system in ours. Would like to know whaich adapter to use.

I wouldn't take my word for it but I believe you need the GMOS-04
I do not have the Monsoon system and thats the one they sent me that I had to change as the correct one for the NON Monsoon system is the GMOS-01. They said that GMOS-04 was for the other sound system.

Went to finshed the last of the B/U camera install, Well at some point during the wiring of the darn thing I must have bumped a hot wire onto something because the camera was working after the first test, then quit working. Not only that but I couldn't get the key out of the ignition. After searching the forums I saw something about this along with the front wipers not working and found mine also did not work. Checked the fuse and it appeared O.K but changed it anyway and still nothing, finally after spending most of the morning getting nowhere I took it into the dealer. They ended up having to change the lock cylinder and said there was also an electrical problem they had to fix but did not specify exactly what. Good news is it was all covered under warrenty and they gave me a real nice Caddy loaner as they had to keep it overnight. I gotta say I've visited the service dept twice and they have been outstanding each time.
