need help cant decide if i schould get pcm.i just installed a air intake and am haveing my magnaflow dual cat back exhaust sysyem installed thursday.kelly said if i want just pay now and send in after words. but my problem is i am worryed about the dealer flashing the pcm.what does it take for them to do that .will they do it on just a oil change or puting new tires on i just dont wana have to keep sending my pcm in for a re flash.

It would be very unusual for the dealer to flash your PCM unless you are having an issue with it. They will not flash it during any routine service or repair. I wouldn't worry about it.

Agreed. And if they did do something like that, they wouldn't be my dealer for very long, thats for sure.

I've been into the dealer three or four times since my pcm flash. PCM just isn't a part of the everyday conversation for car maintenance. I doubt my dealer has an issue with pcm flashes since they offer one of their own with intake and exhaust upgrades.
It's worth it, just do it!

Hello....it's your truck, tell them everything and anything they do to it has to be authorized in writing in advance just like the law says it is supposed to be.

Sending mine in tomorrow!! I did break one of the red thingy's though, when I was trying to pull it out.
