Little Monster
7/30/2007 7:36:54 AM
In the beginning when there was a few,
things could be done as we all knew
but now that we’ve grown it is time for a change
keeping our posts in the new range.

For all the old timers the change has been swift
Remember now there is women and children a drift
We are all human and may make a mistake.
So keep in mind the changes we all must make.

This is the best forum on the net
With a little digression it will be better yet.

Dear Little Monster, I do head your call
Although a bit late, I must tell you all.
Discreetion is something that may be a must
but in all of us there must lie some trust

Our forum has never been geared toward the young
but I don't think we should have to hold our tongues.
Your spirit is genuine and feelings are true
but alas the stains of bad karma do insue

The point has been made well into the past
and has seemed to come back and will stay here, alas....
I believe you are right, and morally correct,
and our welfare we have must stay here in tact

So I ask for us to stay true to ourselves
but watch what you say for happiness to all
Let's all be good boys and girls when we post............

Ah screw it, this is a HUMMER forum, ya know, big, bad-ass trucks, symbols of strength and courage and all that BS, but it's ultimately the PARENT'S responsibility, not OURS, to keep vulgar and abusive language out of the midst and hands of their children. We are not babysitter's, and although I agree with you, I also must be hypocrit and tell you that it isn't our responsibility to watch your children's access to the internet.  Teach them right and wrong, and that ultimately is where the responsibility lies.......(I in no way represent the views of any other members of this forum, and anybody associated with it.  It's all personal)  Thanks

I do, however, commend you for speaking up and being very polite about it.  I'm glad there are still good-value'd people in the world we live in and I say that sincerely.

censorship don't work on internet forums, first it's language, then emoticons, then what? Mike is right (dear god has that ever happened before) We never had a problem with it before and we still don't...I EDITED MY POST MYSELF.The only time bad language was used was when what I originally posted (for all of 10 minutes before I fixed changed it) was repeted by someone for dramatic effect

Let me go on record as stating I personally haven't generally had a problem with the language/content used here. I don't even mind the "male oriented" pics/avatars constantly displayed here.  I realize I am on a male-dominated forum and I don't expect things to be powder puffed for me. My posts only reflected that I thought maybe some ugliness could be toned down a bit on occasion.  If I did not like this forum - I would not be here! I would go look for some sugary foo foo ladylike girls forum!  For those who do not like it here and would like things changed...may I suggest to you a new forum?!
