I keep hearing radio commercials about this. Apparently all 2007 GM cars have the capabilities, but I wonder if our H3's do. It may be a simple firmware update they have to do to your equipment.
Has anybody used this yet? I'm going to call On-Star today and ask them if it's available on any H3's.

Yes, when I got my H3 a few months ago OnStar called to explain how it all works...you get 1 free Turn by Turn navigation use with a new H3. I tried it out, it's alright if you don't have anything else but I really prefer to have my own nav system.

I have the 2007 H3 and it has turn by turn voice navigation. Works really slick too. What's I found neat as well is that it even sends the coordinates to the factory NAV unit as well, so you can see the route on screen. It comes in handy to get to addresses that are not in the Factory NAV database.

Do you have a 2006 or 2007? I personally would not use it since I have my nav unit and my gps laptop receiver, but it's still a cool feature.

Same, I have 07' model. I think mine was manufactured in Feb? Mine doesn't have the child locks or the door panel upgrade but it does have the 3.7 liter engine and the extra storage compartment.
