Well for those of you following the on going story or not. Here's the deal my '06 H3 leaked everytime I was parked at the rear of my driveway which out my H3 at a slant from front to back. The rear of the H3 was lower. So if it rained water went into my Hummer behind the rear door seals down under my rear seat. I took the '06 to the dealer all 3x for them to tell me they can't find a leak. So problem solved I traded that H3 in for the newer version '07 H3. Well first time in rained guess what water under my rear seat. They had my Hummer for 3 days took the headliner off, door panels, seals, pulled up the carpet and guess what they couldn't find a leak.
Well today I went ape S**t when I went out to my truck to find that not only the carpet was wet but so much water went into the truck that my rear seats soaked up the water, too.
And for those smart a**es out there all my windows and sunroof where closed everytime(I posted this before and I got back a bunch of posts asking if my windows where closed, like I would even post on here if I did leave a window open).
So back to the dealer I went letting the F bomb fly like I was a sailor and ripping into every employee there. So here I sit without my H3 which I need by Monday night for my upcoming THCI Trip in Dayton, TN.

Nice friend isn't he..
Got home from Muddy's and the dealer called asking me to bring the roof rack key back up to them. They found that one of the sunroof drains collasped and that an area near one of my roof racks was leaking. They are going to order the new rear seat and drain, they'll get the drain installed by Monday if it shows up. But they are going to have to give me back my H3 with the damaged rear seat. han I have to give them back my H3 after I get home for them to install the new rear seat, but I better get it back in time so I can go to Muddy and mine's Memorial Day Weekend Event.

So do you think they both had the same issue?
Trey124

I know for the fact that they have the same issue, both H3s only leaked when it was raining and my truck was parked that way in the driveway. Both where Slate Blue so Muddy's theory that it is onlt that color Hummers that leak can still hold some water.

The facts remain the same:
1) Slate Blue
2) Sunroof
3) Trey's crooked driveway
4) H3

Sounds like the mystery is solved.

well at least they figured it out.......Do you think you got some mud up in your drain plugs???? Plugged them up? LOL! J/King!
I'll have to take a peek at mine......Do you know where the drain holes are located? I know I have a lot of pine needles around this area.....
I haven't had any leaks yet and don't want any!
Don't worry you should get your 3 back before the Memorial Day event!

It justs has me so pissed off, 5x without my H3 and they finally think they fixed it. You should have seen my reaction when the Service Manager said "He'll put his best tech on the job" I said, "Well who the F*** was working on my H3 the other 4x and NOW I get the one guy that maybe able to fix it" He just look at me dumbfounded. You would have thought on the second or third time that maybe someone quailifed would have looked at it.
Regardless of what Monday brings if they can't get the parts in and install them than I'm off on my trip with a leaky H3.

Guess the best guy can't work on every car but you are right in thinking that after the third trip in someone a little more qualified might take a shot at fixing it. Sad part is I am sure they bill Hummer for their incompetence.

Trey, don't worry. I will bring my H3 cover just in case it rains. It should fit in the H2.

Damn...wht didn't we think of that? Or he could just turn it around in his driveway so the rear end is up instead of down.

I usually park first in my driveway and that solves the problem, but my wife was away on a business trip, so I parked behind her not even thinking that there would be a problem.
Camou2 no need for a car cover, I'm sure the hotel has a level parking lot. If not I can put the back tires up on the curb and leave it like that overnight.
It's funny you guys metion parking the other direction or somewhere else, because that's what I usually do when I know it is going to rain.
