that reminds me, I saw a beautiful 1992 H1, for sale for 8900, the owner said they were under bad circumstances and just needed to get rid of it. if only I was in buying position!!

although with bank repos etc. I may find a good deal on another Hummer (1, 2, 3 are all good for me) come my buying time. keep your eyes peeled, it should be on ebay soon and now its on cars.com under AM General. Also, i bet a year from now H2s will be cheaper than H3s BUT if I cant find one on my low budget ( maybe a repo) Ill probably start out like most of the people here with a lifted Jeep or just huge truck and save the wheeling for the ATV for now BUT im not givving up till im behind the wheel of an H1.
oh, and by beautiful 1992 I mean i like it but is got 76,000 miles! some issues are bound to be run into but for me it would just be a fun thing to repair (except for the huge parts cost) I once heard hear, "if your living paycheck to paycheck the H1 is not for you" itll have to wait but whatever I end up with itll end up caked in mud strattled over a pile of rocks.
sorry for the wall of text, my fingers hurt...

If that is the one that was on Craig's list it is a scam. They took it off of Craig's list.

The description of the vehicle is nowhere close to accurate. What did they tell you Zach?

i have a question or two about the hummer for sale on cars.com, it seems to be very cheap at only $8,900. you say it is good int. ext. and mechanically. I just cant figure out why this thing is so cheap. does it need a new engine or something? sorry if I waste your time because i am not planning on any purchase, but ive just been curious as to why this thing is so cheap??
