Not worth the 30 seconds

(That's what she said!) I was going to the car wash and was going to stop at the gas station for something to drink. There is a path behind the gas station that you can take to avoid the main street traffic. It was a little extra muddy so I decided to take advantage of it and sling some mud. Wow, the amount of cleaning it takes to get rid of the mud is not worth just 30 seconds of fun, I'd say a minimum of 30 minutes to make it worth it. Still was a blast though, got some good looks too. Oh and what makes it even better is the nozzle on the sprayer had a leak that sprays water back at you, I came out just as wet as the truck.

LOOKS nice, they can be a little bit of chore to get all the mud off

Well, now that it's had a taste of mud, you wont be able to keep it clean!!  Besides, your truck looks cool both ways

They seem to seek out the mud, water, sand, etc.

It's ALWAYS worth it for mud!!!!  

You could always wait to clean it up until after you had the required amount of playtime in it.

Have you ever gotten yours dirty Humbob?

What do you think about getting my H3 painted to llok like the before picture?  That way when it's clean or dirty it would always look like I went thru a mud hole.  I would do it jsut to drive HummBob and Muddydawg crazy.

I look at it this way, cleaning my truck is a labor of love. It ain't no big deal to wash the mud/snow off at the local power wash and then finish it off in my heated garage.

Nice.... it's always worth it.... I've done dumb crap like that on the way back from the carwash...

I had actually thought about doing that with the salt look

What about one of those new decal/wrap that cover commerical vehicles use?  Not only get the mud look, get a paint protection...
Just a thought.  Sharp looking H3.

Bob I know you think it is blasphemy but dirt looks good on Hummers.

Washing mud off your Hummer???  Just say no!

That's why I just leave it muddy for a few days.  Besides, it freaks out the HUMMER driving Soccer Mom's when they see an H3 looking like that!

dont feel bad buddy.... i live on a 2 mile strech of dirt/rocky road. when it rains, by the time i get onto the main road.... my hummer looks the same way! but then again... i live in TEXAS!
