a few pics from today's run with 16 hummers

airing down.

made it up to 6000 feet.  the jeeps behind us quit somewhere around 5000

i love this state - well, except for the bull$hit . . . . . . .

just one of the beautiful views.  the pic just doesn't do it justice, but it's the best i've got.

chris, before you rag on me, i learned that if you connect the winch control and lay it on the dash before you hit the snow - you'll never need it.

Great pics, wish we could get 16 Hummers on a trail run.

we had a fair amount of recovery work on the trip.  if you got off the center of the road you sank in pretty deep, there was anywhere from 3 to 4' of snow on the road.  we had a few trucks up to the rockers and resting on the skidplates.  in all it was a great run, good group of people and a good mix of hummers.

no ground squirrels this trip - but we saw 3 deer on the scout run last weekend

If the trail has much difficulty to it 16 is a lot of trucks. Takes awhile to get them all through so you spend a lot of time spotting/waiting. On an easy run the number of trucks isn't much of an issue. I know what you mean though, get more people involved.

Hey Lester, it was great going out with you again. I had a blast. We missed you at dinner! Hope to see you soon again.

mark, it was good to finally see ya back out on the trails.  i was a cranky old bastard by the time we were airing up, i wouldn't have been much fun at dinner.  i got tired of waiting for everyone to get over that stump at the end so i turned around and went back the way we came in.

hey screwed, i think Mark is the only other member here that was on the trip.  if there were other members along they were in stealth mode.

I hear ya Lester... it was getting a little slow on the way back. Next time we go out we definately need to find a place where we can roam around, have fun getting sideways and muddy at the same time! :)
