Ok, I think I'm pretty much done for now.  As a few of you know, I had some factory wheels powder coated at my local dealer, and they finally came in on Thursday.  After I decided to put new wheels on, I figured the stock Goodyears weren't quite enough.  So I bought some Mickey T's from Jordan Tire (great people!)  I'm really happy with the way everything turned out!  What do you think?????

Stock rims look good blacked out, and those tires really make it look aggressive!

I personally would have went witha  different style of rims, but damn those look pretty good. Out of curiousity, how much did powder coating those bad boys cost?

I ended up paying $600 for 5 wheels.  That included powder coating, painting the center caps to match, mounting, balancing, and replacing tire pressure monitors.

Why did you have to replace the TPMS?  Did you not get your stock rims coated? Or did you buy a second set and have them done?

Doc, you now must get rid of your chrome handles and mirrors then your journey to the darkside will be complete!

Yes...The dealer sent a set of their wheels to their powder coater, then we just swapped.

They are 33" Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ...Same size tires that come on the Adventure package.  As soon as I got them mounted I took a 200 mile road trip.  So far, I'm really impressed...Hardly any lug slap and a very smooth ride.

As for the wheels, they are factory original 16".  I really like the look of the Hummer wheels, so I wanted to keep that factory look but with a little twist.

Thanks for all the kind words!!!!  I'm glad they meet the forum's approval!

$600? Damn, definately consider doing that. I like that idea Wu Jen, turning to the dark side, eliminating the chrome. Post more pics if you take it off-roading or whatever.

Hey Doc, my girl looks alot like yours. I just put on 33" Mickey Thompson Baja Claws with stock rims. Only major difference between mine and yours is rims and your chrome door handles and your grill. I will try to post pics tonight, I took a couple yesterday after getting the tires put on. I love the look of the MTs.

The mudflaps are probably the best investment I've made so far.  They really help to keep the sides of the truck clean.  Thanks for everyone's help when I purchased them!!!!
