New To Hummer Dont Hate Me..

so like i said im new to hummer so im sorry for anything that i ask that has been beaten to death, i used the search feature but didnt find exactly what i was looking for... i have an 06 h3 with the 6 disc in dash radio and also have a sirius radio (the external type) from my previous vehicle... i was wondering you guy's recomendations on antenna placement/routing and most importantly how to hardwire it in so that i dont have to use the cigarette lighter (which i hate using for things like this) Thanks in advance for any help and agian sorry if i asked anything tha has been already been beaten to death by other people... There was another guy on the forums that switched to Sirius not too long ago. If I remember correctly his id was taticalH3.  We're not haters on here, someone will be here to help you out. Welcome to the club.

hey thanks guys... sorry im used to the audi forums where for some reason everyone is out for blood haha... that thread is really helpful as far as getting through the fire wall... but im not using the adapter module to go from xm to sirius, i didnt have xm to begin with, im using an external radio and wanted to hardwire it to the car so i didnt have to use the cigarette lighter... also i dont know if i would need a new cable or if i could cut the cig lighter end off it and test to see which is hot and ground and T it into something...

I used a guy off of eBay to add aftermarket XM to my H2... it was pretty much a cakewalk to install... and it had the iPod adapter....
