Finally was able to get everything done yesteray and here is the result. I am running 18" x 9" pro comp 1079s
with 35" Nitto mud grapplers. Took me 2 full days of deciding which combination was right. I think this is a good one. This forum was a big help to me in my decision making process. It took a lot of reading old posts, but it was worth it. Forgot to mention there is a 2" leveling kit on my truck to accomodate the larger rubber.

Looks very nice..How does it handle on the road compared to the 33's?

SteveO, the Mickeys ran like stock tires, i have only had these for a day and a half, they feel a little chunkier and the noise is a different one. The MTs would hum, at 30 mph these sound like a swarm of bees and at 50 mph it sounds like you are riding in a single prop airplane. I originally was going to get 35s when I bought it , but my brother talked me out of it. he said the rears would not be able to handle it, in his defense he was wrong about the gearing.

Unfortunately he is not that far off, the rear can handle it, it's the front you have to worry about, the front diff is the problem like many know, the gears are rated for a max of 33" tires.
I'm running Toyo 35's, I've blowen my front diff already, my suggestion to you and any others with 35's is when off roading try not to over spin the front wheels and you'll be OK

Nice setup. I've got the same tires and I really like 'em so far. Maybe its the wheel design but your 18"s look as big as my 20"s! Are your bumpers painted or lined? Maybe you just armoralled 'em pretty good cause they look dark!

Look cool, but gotta suck up low and early mid range power and knock MPG?????

Wonder what the actual numbers are 32/33" vs 35"s for MPG, 0-60, and 60-0?  Just wondering, but they do look good.

If I can get this in one post I will, here is a close up of the tires and hopefully a 3/4 view. I will post a pic of the back later and then another one after i put the 5th wheel on the back. I have to get it mounted first. As for the gas, I have not had the tires on for a full week yet. I will let you know. the ride is in my opinion 95% the same as stock.
