SUT when I bought my H3....he paid $68k, me $38k. I have 43,000 miles on the same transmission he has 26,000 on his 3rd tranny that just went out again today!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not funny but I have to laugh because he had to out-do me and I can drive mine and he is driving a HHR!!!

I don't think he said what year it is. But 15,000 annually is the norm.

I have 43,000 miles on my 2006 H3 that I bought Dec 31, 2005. Got a new head a while back, need a new front end because it sounds like it is going to fall off.....no other issues.....fingers crossed!!!!!!!! Drive it like you rented it!!Oh, and it's beautiful GREEN!!!! I want a 08 with a V8 but no green, no buy!!!
So, after the 3rd time of having tranny issues the service manager called GM and told them they wanted a new crated tranny or the H2 was gonna sit there until they sent one. They had a new one in 1 day!!! His second "rental" was a 2007 Silverado 4dr. The lady at the dealership asked him what he wanted to drive and he said anything but that thing you guys consider a automobile.

I understand that the 4L60E tranny that our H3's run are used in larger, more powerful vehicles. Is this true? How have the trannys been holding up in the higher mileage H3's?

my trannny hasn't been shifting as soon as it used to. It's intermittent, but the RPM's have been running up a but higher lately.
