Where/when do you plan on camping, HummerKid?  These two places are not near each other....  Wharton does have camping.... and so does Rausch....

So, the day we were planning on leaving, May 21rst, is my wife's birthday. I completely zoned out about this. You men can all thank me for fueling the stereotype.

That being said, I may just cancel the whole road trip idea and come straight there just for the off-roading. Is that hotel big? If I wait til the weekend to get reservations do you think it will be too late? We are going to plan all this out on Saturday. She wants to go see Wicked on Wedn. night which is when I wanted to leave.

The hotel has 81 rooms, with a holiday weekend not sure how much they will fill up. There are other places to stay but this is the closest to RC.  You can always take her to see TN another time, how many chances do you get to meet up with Hummer Forum members and go wheelin.  Just make sure you mention your off roading at RC in order to get a discounted rate.

Great idea HummerGuy.  I'm not going to say what he has up his sleeve but if he can pull this off all I can say is WOW.
Let me know if you are going to be able to get it, because I was planning on driving home Sunday night after everything was done. If this is going to happen than I'll get a room and drive home Monday morning.

I'm going to try. I'm not trying to weasel out of it but there's just alot going on that weekend and I still can't say yes or no yet so I'm just going to leave it as is until the date gets closer. Things keep coming up unfortunately that all want to happen that weekend since everybody is off and so forth.

I would say 95% I can do what I said, but only if you can bring what I requested, or somebody, since it is a must. The other question is WHERE? The weather also plays a part in it.

This weekend my wife and I are going to sit down and figure it all out, so I would say I'll definintely know by Sat night.

On Saturday...are we all meeting somewhere...if not I will need directions.

I'll tell you what buddy. If you make the effort to fly over there just for this event, I will do everything in my power to be there and say screw it to anything else going on that weekend. I probably have the longest drive next to Brandie.

Yeah, I already looked them up so I'll be staying at both. I just need to call and reserve my spots.
