Whats the max tire size on a base 2006 h3? I have 265's on it now. If I crank the tortion bars a few turns would 35's clear?
BTW...whats the difference in base model and adventure package?

there's another post on here from one of our Death Valley trippers that has a pic of his H3 with 35" toyos (and a sweet looking H2 beside it). he's not lifted, all he did was adjust his torsion bars. i think it looks awesome, and he didn't have any troubles on the boulder crawls we went over. so yes, you can put 35's on with stock suspension.

The difference in the two packages are the Adventurer comes with 285/75R16 tires, a 4:1 transfer case, and the rear locker, and I believe a lower axle ratio, 4.56:1. The Base comes with 265/75R16, a 2.64:1 transfer case, and again I believe a 4.11:1 axle ratio

35's will fit, just be cautious of the actual size (eg: 34.7" vs 35.4") it needs to be no taller than 35", as far as width is concerned I have 325's (13" wide) which fit nicely ;)

Hey Greg,, I was looking at your pics and I can see your wider rims dont let the tire bulge out,, where as my factory rims make my tires bulge out ,, thus a slight rub .. Very nice wheel ,, tire combo,, Looking good bro.

Thanks. I finally have a digital camera and lots of great pics and no where to host them! :( The wheels I have are 9" wide so the 325's fit good, no rubbing.
