Off-Road Event - [IHC] Sun. June 1st- Badlands Park - Attica, IN - Page 2

Good morning guys! I just realized (thanks to HummerGuy, Mike) that this thread existed! Sorry I haven't posted! Anyway, the official date for this event is Sunday, June 1st. That is the final date for the event and it will not change! We had to change it for a couple of reasons. Two of our trail leaders were not available (just found out this week) and also the memorial day weekend is one of the busiest weekends at the Badlands park. So if we went on Mat 25th, it would be a lot of sitting on the trails waiting for people to get their jeeps and 4 wheelers unstuck. Going on an off peak (June 1st) will be a lot better for a large group of Hummers. I apologize for the date changing as I know a lot of you plan to attend. Keep in mind, this is a IHC member event so if you're not a club member I need to know if your coming. We are taking a count on the number of trucks and people that will be there since we plan the trails accordingly and supply lunch for everyone. Thanks again! Mike

I may be able to attend this one, its been a while and since I cant blame the weather any more I will most likely be there.

Because of the response to this event with our members, I'm removing this from the main thread area. If anybody else is interested in attending with our club, please PM me. Otherwise I think we are reaching max group capacity as far as trucks per trail leader, etc.

why moved this to deleted threads???  This is the only thread that those of us that are going (i dont even know who) can communicate... If there isnt room for more, state that, but leave the thread silly.. This makes it appear that the trip is no longer going to happen.

I cc'd you in the RSVP email.

I don't know. I'm usually not in the loop too much so I don't want to say yes we are or no we aren't. We will leave it as is and see what happens. If anybody is interested, they will post here. My mind isn't all here today.

Hey guys! Well, this is shaping up to be quite an event! We now will have some cool giveaways! We'll either raffle them off or have them as special prizes from the day to give out. We have had many members already rsvp'd! I just need to figure out what to provide for food at lunchtime! We will also have some dealership employees there to help on the trails if needed, so it should be a fun day!

For clarification, do I need to provide my own food since I'm not a club member yet or will lunch be provided for me? Either way is fine, I just don't want to go hungry... That would be bad...
 
Secondly, I hope my big ass lights up top dont get knocked off..!!! lol Someone bring a chainsaw!!! lol

Hi guys. Sorry for the late reply here. I've had a very busy week. We (IHC) will supply the food for lunch. There should be plenty. As of right now we have about 13 trucks and about 23 people that are RSVP'd. I called the Badlands and gave them notice we are coming. They are getting some extreme weather down there tonight so I hope the trails are still "groomed" when we get down there on Sunday. :)

Wow.. Some life does exsist!!!  Is HG still going????
 
I saw that Attica had a tornado warning.. Hopefully there wont be any damage in town or any tress down at the BadLands...

Indiana is a bit far and I have things I am tied into this weekend. I would love to make it back to the Midwest or Texas to wheel with some of the guys.

I just called the Badlands. They WILL be open tomorrow. The flood warning for Attica won't have any impact on the park. (If you didn't know, they got a little rain yesterday.. )

It's 8:13pm here.. We're an hour behind northern Indiana.. So we're off to bed to get up at 3am to leave by 4am.
 
I am taking 3 sets of batteries for the camera and I will be shooting vids too.. I will do my best to have it up later tomorrow night.. (probably after 8pm cst)
