Hey guys has anyone used line-x to cover a factory grill? If so, could you post a picture of it? I have a bunch of dings and chips in my chrome stock one and it's looking bad.
Would this work? I did a search for this and only came up with the thread about doing wheels.

I have not done it,but it will work. I've seen it done. The company will want you to do it all the way around. That way it will keep it from trying to peel from just one side.

Line-X was designed for truck beds. Doesn't it have a textured satin finish? Is a gloss finish an option?

If you are really interested in doing the LineX thing, I suggest you head over to the HX forum
and see what some of those fellers have done. Just do a search on LineX and you will see
everything from grill shells to color matched fenders.
On the no-bling rigs....It doesn't look bad at all.
Plus, it's a relatively inexpensive was to cover up beat to hell parts....
