Installed leveling kit, and 315/75-16 M/T's but know when I crank the steering wheel all the way, the tire hits the sway bar.....
Is this a common thing?
Thanks!

Yup, it's a common thing. I know it did with mine, in fact it still does a little. Did you get it aligned? When I first had the kit installed it rubbed quite a bit, but after I got it aligned, it rubbed less. You could probably add spacers to offset the wheels a little more. What kit did you get?
This has to do with the 315s not the kit. It is very common, but an easy fix is to have a small piece of metal welded to the knuckle turn stops. I did that on my old Blazer and it worked just fine.

Where do you get the spacers?

You can get spacers at most automotive shops. It looks like this:
http://www.autoanything.com/suspension-systems/61A2607A0A0.aspx You just have to make sure it has the same bolt pattern 6 x 139.5 and the center bore is large enough to fit the H3's center hub. Also try not to get it to thick 1/4" at max. anything wider brings up some safety concerns...

Is there a performance reason they designed the H3 to be not level??

The reason that was explained to me... Steering stability in the front when you're towing something or carrying a heavy load in the back...
