Hey everyone just got my H3 on Friday and already took her up to Reno for the weekend. She handles great, a little less power than I am used to but overall I am happy with the ride.

I got it used with approx. 7500 miles on it but still looks brand new inside and out...I paid $29,700 plus tax and liscense. I was just curious if you guys thought that was a decent deal or not. See my sig for how she is equipped.

Thanks

Sounds like you got a bloody good deal mate. I paid $38,6000 plus tax etc. for a new one last July, colour red though, same options but without the Nav. system. Nice isn't it!

SiCo, I am curious where you are from originaly. Based on your written slang and spelling, and assuming you talk like you type, I would guess Austrailia.

lets see how he spells tire, that would be another clue. the only word he spelled funny (for us yanks) is color. his preference in malted beverage would also be a big giveaway.

that may not give it away, i think we're the only country that shortchanges pubcrawlers with 12 oz beverages.

I work with a Brit, and for some reason my female parental unit lives on that tiny island, and they don't use the word "mate" very often. It just doesn't roll off thier tongues like it does an Austrailian's. Also the way the sentances sound when I say them in my head has more of an Austrailian accent to it then a Brittish accent. I could be wrong, though. I am not a linguist, and it's hard to tell from an email.

I belong to a Land Rover forum ..And Quite honestly, it is hard to tell the difference Between the Oz and UK lingos...

I'll still bet by the +BLOODY+ inflection, he is a Brit..$5.00 bucks it is Hummerific

I'm too cheap to gamble, but I went to high school with a couple of Aussie's. They said "bloddy" all the bloody time, especially when they were exited about something. 'Course, it might have been because that is considered a cuss word and they grew up with some strick parents. I don't recall them ever saying it at home. Hmmm...

Ah yes, it is a bloody curse word..I remember when myself and my 8th grade class in 1967 went on a field trip to a indoor theater with Air conditioning...the feature was "To Sir with Love" starring; Sidney Poitier, Christian Roberts, Judy Geeson, Suzy Kendall, Lulu, Faith Brook, Geoffrey Bayldon, Edward Burnham..So the story goes; it takes place in some urban swill of a neigborhood in England and it was crude and rude to say BLOODY for whatever reason in the classroom...Etc.
