I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I just saw the Pumpkins... REAL close in a very small venue... F'N ruled!

You mean to say you HONESTLY have never heard of them? 
Even if you don't follow rock music, it would be difficult to have not ever heard their name unless you've been living under a rock for the last 15 yrs or so.
Not to mention that their name is not an easy one to forget.

I really want to see him live.....  I did manage to see Brian Regan live at the Baltimore Improv before it closed...  he is flawless...
