We will know more today, Glen is meetinf with the event guy to figure out the price.  Plus there is talk that a Gm rep and maye some AP reporters showing up to get members thoughts on GM''s plans for the Hummer.

Pre-ran trails at Rausch Creek today with a bunch of great guys who will be our trail leaders at the event.  We all sat down together at the Hampton after off-roading and reviewed the cost for the event.  Since there are some members who are also members at RC we have restructured the event pricing and it will be posted on the Club''s web site by Monday, hopefully I can get it up tomorrow.  This is going to be a very enjoyable event with great trail leaders, AM General and local dealer mechanical support, great food and great entertainment both Friday & Saturday and as always great people.
 
To comment on Trey''s earlier reply.  I am fairly certain that Gene Jacobs from the GM Eastern Regional office will be at the event.  I spent about a 1/2 hour on the phone Friday morning with an AP reporter from NY who also asked if he and a photographer could come down to the event.  A number of major news papers and other media have been in contact with the Club this week after the "strategic words by GM''s CEO".

I registered for the event and hope to see more people come on out.
We need to show GM and the media that we want these vehicles to continue, if you''re near this event please come out and show your support.

I would love to but too far away. Tell them they can call and talk to me if they want to an earful as to why they should keep pushing the brand.

The new price is up and running on the Hummer website so come on people sign up and support Hummer and let GM know we still want these vehicles.

Anyone else sign up yet to go?  C''mon we need more people to show GM not to get rid of the Hummer brand.

I kna number of people from other venues that have signed up. Should be a decent crowd.

I was on the phone today with both GM''s Northeast office and the Associated Press.  Both will be at the event.  We now have about 20 trucks that will be there.

Hope you get more with a good mix of models.

Damn I wish I could be there.

As of now we have 8 H1''s, 4 H2''s and 8 H3''s.  Good mix but we need 20 more trucks to show GM and AP that there are a lot of Hummer owners who love their trucks and the "Lifestyle" of ownership including getting them dirty.

I have PCBC 26-28 in San Francisco. Show them this post showing I wanted to be there.
