I wouldn't say any wrangler.... a non rubi has no diff lock and the POS axles can hardly handle 33's...running a 35 would be stressing it to it's limits. Let's be fair here....a base wrangler(x, sahara) is not in the same league as an H3....the fact that an h3 can run 35's with no lift puts it above and beyond a non rubi Wrangler.

I like the Wheels, but I wonder if I can fit in it? It looks a little tight for room on the inside. ( I'm 6'5" 220).

"The H3 competes with the Grand Cherokee? Dude, what are you smokin'? I don't think anybody has told Jeep or GM that LOL"
well, somebody told GM to put it on the hummer website b/c its there clear as day. and, lets not forget that every hummer dealer's office has a comparison chart w/ 4 other vehicles in the h3's class...grand cherokee included. oh yeah, and then there's kelly bluebook and edmunds...but what do i know? im too busy getting 'high'...why dont you put you're jeep-love aside and look at the facts? how do they not compete? they're in the same class (tho ive never see a grand off road).
not trying to flame the impster, only OK

. jk! like it or not, the h4 will be in the same class as the wrangler and will take sales away. its basic economics, folks. im just happy that there's more competition in the market, which will drive down prices. and what does that mean? more wheelin' for all!

in defence of the grand cherokee...my zj (1997) is very capable off road...I've been through crap with that thing that I don't think my stock h3 would make....pick up a jP magazine and you'll see grands doing some pretty hard core stuff.

so a base model grand could take a base model h3 off-road?

umm...did I say base model grand? Actually I said my zj would go places my stock h3 wouldn't....inferring that my zj is not stock.

great question! when did i ever mention anything about a non-base to non-base comparison? nothing like comparing apples (non-base grand) to oranges (stock h3)...
impy, im totally messing around for entertainment value and hope you know that. i have very, very little knowledge on the subject and have 0 problem admitting it.
what the heck is a zj anyways?

I know...it's all in fun. ZJ is the letters given to a grand cherokee from 93-98. Just like all jeeps, they have letters for name abreviations

gotcha. i just thought they were like other cherokees where they offer a base zj, laredo zj, and limited zj.
ive actually considered buying an older wrangler for a toy to go some of the places where i dont want take my h3 (ie thick brush, etc) since its my primary vehicle. i really do like them.

there's nothing wrong with those Bridgestone tires on his H3... they're leaps and bounds better than what they put on a stock H2...

i doubt it...I had 35" boggers and I barely made through it....400 yards at a steep incline and DEEP rutts....hard to tell from the picture. But in the middle of the first pic you can see a track in the middle of the rutts, theres a turned over stone in the center...that was made from my rear axle dragging...thats how deep it was....there were three guys with me running an all terrain tire and they didn't make it 50 yards. they are called mud tires for a reason
