I just use this new wax from Turtle wax call ICE it is a Synthetic Liquid Wax.
This stuff is great it comes with a nice applicator and a microfiber cloth and leave no swirl marks.
When i was putting it on i could feel all the dirt on the paint come off. Even when you could not see it you could feel it.
The best part it took me less then a half hour you can get it on and it does not leave any white residue on your plastic matter of fact the plastic looks brand new.The Truck looks like it came right out of the showroom. Plus it took off my old white residue off the plastic.
It even took out my scratch you could use this every time you wash your truck because it does not take much time at all.
They also make ICE Spray Detailer.
I have to give Turtle wax a
I am happy i found this prouduct

Nice find Mark..Sounds like the perfect product..You don't have to worry about getting any on all the rubber trim and plastic , like other waxes do, that leaves white residue marks wherever you touched it.
I'll give it a try..If it don't work..you'll wax everyones hummer on the forum

I used today the detailer works awesome i used many in the past but this one works great nice shine and no mark like the old one would leave behind and for my color truck you would see them a lot and i love that microfiber cloth
This stuff so far is the best i ever used. Believe me i used many or probably least tried all of them.

Two thumbs up Mark!

<-------------
(oooo, that's gonna hurt) I used it today on the HUMMER...I covered everything except the tires...This stuff is PERFECT! I even put it on all that plastic bumpers and trim...I was able to apply it in half the time of normal waxes... even the rubber trim around the windows..I just slopped it on without any care..I recommend doing this in the sun too, it helps to dry it faster..Then wiper it down with the Microfiber rag they supply with the polish, along with a foam applicator...It wipes off real easy, even off the window glass and chrome without smears...No muss no fuss!
Everything looks like brand new...I really, really like this ICE product..This is the easiest and best shine I've ever gotten from a car polish.
I found isles of it at PepBoys....$16.00 with tax
Thanks Mark..you did good on this one my friend.

I'll get some of the detailer too...I liked this ICE stuff so much, I'm beginning to sound pathetic bragging on it so much...But I'll put another coat on this weekend and be ready for the long hot summer with protection.
And I thought I was the only one that went tooling around after primping my ride

...
Speaking of protection..Two cute hot girls in an H2 SUT..Pulled along side and started flirting and, and, and.....well never mind, the light turned green.

Well?..I've been waiting to hear how you liked it...I know you mentioned in another post that you were out getting all dirty and needed to clean up...Did you try this ICE afterwards yet?
Another lady friend of mine just called me tonight to thank me for recommending it to her...She has a black SL55 AMG and said her Benz never shined so good for so easy (and you can imagine how fussy she must be)..She just went on and on about it......Hope it works for you too as well.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I have had to wash the truck 5 times in the rain just to get all the mud off. It has been cold and rainning for days now. I am hoping it will let up soon because I will not drive it unless it is sparkling. I used it on one fender and I liked the looks and ease, but I couldn't get it to dry very well. So I'm waiting for sunshine.

That always makes it seem like work. I think i need to move. I love sunshine.

OKC is 89% sunshine...has been in the 80s and blue skies lately and predicted for the next 10 days the same.
Where I've lived;
Bay City, Mich. (born there)..Weather sux, too much winter
Milwaukee, Wis...Weather sux, too much winter
Memphis, Tenn...Weather sux, too much humidity
VA Beach, VA...Weather sux, too much humidity, too many Navy dudes
Evansville, IN...Weather sux, too much winter and humidity
Oklahoma City, OK...About the best place I've lived for low cost of living and decent weather.
I'm sure there are nicer places still...But I'm happy here.

That sounds great. I have always lived in Ohio. But I have always work in Pa. or for a Pa. company. I lived outside of Columbus for a while, but it was to flat for me. I live in a very hilly area. Most people think they are mountains, but they are hills. I can leave Ohio drive though Pa., West Virgina and back to Ohio crossing a river and a creek that is bigger than most rivers elsewhere, in a matter of 8 min. I was born and raised here, so it's home. Thank God I have had the oppurtunity to travel alot. It keeps my sanity. My plans are to retire in HI.
BTW-I don't get the grief that everyone else gets about owning a Hummer. Everyone owns a large 4x4. Going up or down hills in the snow is no picnic and there is always mud and rocks on the roads(potholes too), and floods. I have taken 2 roadtrips since I got the Hummer(Columbus & Cleveland) it's the only time it has been on a 4-lane highway. What a hick, huh?

i grew up on the susquehanna, in central PA. what they call rivers here in CA, didn't even rate having names in PA, and if they did, it was always followed by "creek". there are real mountains here, but the appalachians are some pretty cool hills, especially in the fall. more deer to shoot back there too.
you could enjoy the susnhine in OKC, until the turdnadoes blow it away. at least the earthquakes out here don't impact the sunshine . . . . and i live on the good side of the San Andreas. if the humidity ever hits 40%, it's really bad. nothing like the 85% in the midwest and east coast. can't think of any reason i'd wanna leave.

Shortbus, I have been trying to get to Cali for years. I was hoping for the Rosebowl last year, thought that was my chance. Maybe this year. So you understand the difference between a hill and a mountain, and a river and a creek. I don't choose the humidity but I don't mind it either, it's better than the cold and dark days. I've been to Colorado, Arizona and Nevada but I can't seem to get any farther west, but I will.

every time i move somewhere, some sort of natural disaster follows:
moved to Greece, first snow in Athens in 40 years, shut down the city for a day.
moved to So Cal, a 6.8 in the morning and a 6.5 aftershock that evening.
moved to Nor Cal, half the damn El Dorado Nat'l Forest burned down.
bought a house in Nor Cal, worst flooding in over 20 years (i live on high ground, didn't affect me).
nobody wants me to move again, including me.
