I need computer help...asap

I just got direct tv with verizon dsl and canceled my digi cable and cable internet.....my question:
 
You know when you go to certain websites and click on the submit question or contact us link....it pulls up an email window that you fill in and when you send it it automatically sends it from your email account even though you never opened your email account....how do I set that up to my new service? I'm trying to email people from craiglist by hitting the ask the seller question link an it keeps sending the wuestion with my old comcast email addy attached....which I no longer have. Help please!!!!

they didn't provide a cd to load all the settings on your pc???

ok, I figured it out.....yea the cd loaded all the setting but windows vista uses windows mail, not outlook express so I had to go in and change the pop3 and the other settings....I got er al fixed up now.
