I was told from my dealer that the 6 disc changer doesn't display the name of the artist/song title. I was playing around with my radio today and noticed the little "i" on the radio. I pushed it and it said "no info". Then I pushed the button that says "Disp"....and low and behold it prints out everything........I guess the selling dealer doesn't know that much about their own radios...go figure......

my '03 H2 displays the song on the radio, assuming the station broadcasts it, but nothing from a cd other than track number.

well I tried this on XM....and it gives artist/song title....It should work on the radio if the station broadcasts....I can find this out tomorrow....and I haven't put a CD in, but will and let you know...

My XM gives the artist/title info, my regular FM band does not. I haven't tried CDs.

XM does, FM shouldn't, CDs don't.

FM only does it on mine if the station broadcasts the data. my XM is an addon, connected with an FM modulator, so only the XM panel itself shows anything. not that i can see it under the dash anyway . . . . . .

For XM, all you have to do is hit "Disp" and it will cycle you through the artist, song and category for the song being played. If you hit it once, it will cycle through. You can also keep hitting Disp to force it past artist to song, etc.
