You got it buddy!  I'd do the H3SUT too!
 

First of all HUMMER is not a freaking Jeep, the H4 looks like a ****ty jeep.
 
Second of all HUMMER is not a convertable or should not be.  HUMMER is a tuff hard rugged vehicle for people who like to buy a real vehicle.
 
This H4 looks like a cross between a mustang and a jeep = a very bad thing (maybe called a vehicle)

If you look back at the original HMMWV it was absolutely convertible and transformable into mission specific configurations.
The only thing that I expect from any new Hummers is that they perform like a Hummer.
Personally I prefer a hardtop for protection.

Isn't this like the 3rd or 4th time we have seen this now?? And I've said all 3 times...I'll take one!  I'm a ragtop gal  and a beach gal myself and IMO it is a cool cruisin mobile.   I wouldn't buy one of these under the guise of "owning a Hummer" - because I think when you get to this..you have taken pretty much all the real true "Hummer" out of it...(yes I am sure many of you H1 & 2'rs say that about the 3)
 

 
I'm with you... I'd buy one too. I love convertibles and it still has the chunky that I like... it's different and that is what I like about it. I would never, ever give up my H2... but it would be a fun, novelty type thing to have..Make people turn their heads and say "What the f**k is that?????

That is NOT the H4. It does not even look close to the H4. As for 2010? Maybe, maybe not...depends.

That is NOT the H4. It does not even look close to the H4. As for 2010? Maybe, maybe not...depends.

And you WOULD know - good to see you in these parts, F5!  This was just a photochop from a while back that has been circulating and making the rounds, which is why I stuck it in the post -- even though few people actually know what the real design is looking like. 

No way, dont like it, that thing is ugly...even if thats not what it will look like, there just can't be an H4.  No offense to H3 owners because I am one of them, but how much less of a 4X4 than the H3 can you make and stilll call it a HUMMER.  The H3 is awesome, I love mine, but honestly, anything less than a base model H3 is no better than any other 4X4, it might as well be a Hyundai Sante Fe or a Toyota Rav.... it just wont live up to the Hummer reputation of being the ultimate off road vehicle that comes stock from the dealer.  I am all for Hummer looking to make more money and stay in the market, but this will be a little ding in the Hummer reputation.  Can I get an amen???

And so the H4 is official...

I can stake my life on it that it IS official.  It WILL be a 2010 model.  I know of somebody that is test driving one this week at the testing facility.  I don't want to get anybody in trouble so I won't say names obviously or how I know.  All I can say is 100% there is a prototype and it's being tested right now in a certain western state. I'm waiting for the results and/or feedback, IF I even get to hear that much.

ok im so confused with all the suppposed pictures of the h4 but i like htis one the best

General Motors has confirmed the 2010 Hummer H4. It will share its under body with another upcoming compact architecture but, the fun doesn’t stop there as the H3 sees the addition of a diesel model down under and the addition of a new H3 SUT model in 2008.

I just don't understand why automakers feel the need to employ such intense secrecy measures...  I can see trying to keep certain details under wraps for competitive purposes - like withholding the output of an engine so as not to let your competitors know what they'll be competing against.  But, for a model like the H4, doesn't the buzz created by underground publicity HELP the brand and help sell cars?
