The last time I checked I was getting 11.63 mpg/city on regular gas. I think it's my driving style because to get 13 mpg/city one would have to drive like a 90 year old man!

I get about 14mpg in town and 16 on the highway. My H1s get better than 10.0 in the city.

You get 14mpg in town and 16 on the highway? Wow! You're the first person I've heard that does that well in their Alpha. Are you driving down hill all the time and with a tailwind?

Nope normal driving. My wife doesn't do that well but she accelerates right up to the point of braking.

I would've loved to get the Alpha, but I have a heavy foot..hehe  I'm satisfied with my I5 and the amount I spend on gas for it.

??????????? I thought all H3's were built in Shreveport, Louisiana??? So there's a second Hummer plant now in AZ? That's a surprise. I didn't think Hummer needed the extra capacity of a second assembly plant. Have you looked at the sticker on the door? I haven't seen the Alphas but all other H3's that I've seen or heard of are built in LA.

Shreveport, LA is the only domestic plant I am aware of.

Don't have the Alpha, but considering the extra motor size that you've got you don't sound too bad. I'm averaging 13 MPG 60/40 HWY/CTY in my 3.7L. Don't drive the wife's enough to track it so I don't know if it's just me or the truck

I’ve got just over 2000 miles on my Alpha now and the mileage has gotten worse but I did adjust my torsion bars and that may have something to do with it besides having the 33” tires. On the interstate the speed limit is 65mph but I always set my cruise for 77mph. My driving style could be described as aggressive.

The first time I checked I was getting 14.7mpg, next was 13.8mpg, then 13.6 mpg and the last check was 11.6 mpg.

I've only got about 500 miles on my Alpha and using Winter (more highly oxygenated) gas, am getting 14/15MPG on my daily commute.  It's all highway driving, no city, and I tend to run between 72-80 MPH (yeah, kind of a leadfoot).

It's not may last car but I'm happy with the mileage so far.

I'm up in the higher mpg's 13-16
I have just about 3600 miles on my Alpha now.......wish I didn't, but living up here in Maine the miles add up. I notice if I go above 70mph on the highway, that the Alpha sucks the gas right down.....Mine really likes doing around 55-60mph on the back roads, and does the best mileage then.

I would be curious to see what the Alpha mileage would be with bigger wheels and tires. My 3.5 I5 was getting a steady 17 mpg with combined city/ hwy driving before putting 35" tires on it. Now I get 13 mpg with combined driving. I'm not complaining. I was aware of the extra load those heavy tires would put on motor. Just wondering how much of a drop in mileage there would be considering the bigger motor and different gearing.

Would I like to get 25-30 mpg? You bet.

Would I give up my Hummer for it? HELL NO!

Sounds like except for a few with lead feet the Alphas don't do to bad. Mine is right in the range on the window sticker.

That's one of the reason i didn't go for the Alpha.  Along with its not worth the extra money because i can barely feel the difference.

use 87 octane instead of 93 and i guarantee you will get better gas mileage, using higher octane on a vehicle not meant for it is not good for mileage or the valves.
