The H3 is very affordable and attracts a much larger more generic crowd as is evidenced by some of the mindless topics out there concerning the truck.

Do you think this 'generic crowd' who don't qualify as enthusiasts do take the effort to talk about their transportational vehicles on this forum

R U stalking me from the other thread? Am I entitled to my opinion? I love the truck for it's extreme abilities. Last weekend at a school function a fat ugly 50+ mom told me I had inspired her to buy an H3 for her next car, it was enough for me to sell mine to here and go buy an H2.

Different strokes for different folks

generic crowd

i've seen generic beer, generic cigarettes and generic prescriptions, but i've never seen a generic crowd. is it all white, with the word "crowd" in bold, black letters? the closest thing i've seen is the "white out" at the old Winnepeg Jets hockey games. but they went the way of the generic beer. . . .

It is a bland mindless sort that is hooked on television and unable to make decisions on there own. They are blind in there choices and buy things based on what various celebrities and Madison Avenue say. They are the lowest common denominator and should be exterminated in my opinion. They cross all sectors of our society and are mostly weak. Simply put human sheep!!!

They are the people who condemn the society they live in and blast our armed forces for cleaning up issues that are to unsavory for their MTV sensibilities.

All I was saying is this: You were insinuating that you could see that there are many 'not enthusiasts' that drive h3's judging from the subjects in the forum and I said that if you're not an enthusiast you probably wouldnt be at a forum at all. So dont try to squeeze everyone's juice here and yes you are entitled to your opinion.

What I am saying is the H3 will probably out sell the big brother 10-20 fold over the next few years and by sheer demographics will penetrate non enthusiasts. While this is great for GM's bottomline it also works against certain niche interests as with any product of corporation that reaches critical mass. It becomes about profit rather than what got it there in the first place. I have seen lowered H3's in the show room, what the heck does this have to do with the original concept of the vehicle, it has to do with broadening the market to people who are interested in that look.

exterminate the weak minded, wow. reminds me of an Austrian many years ago that felt the same way. hopefully your plan won't be as successful as his was. but, that's the beauty of living here, the current administration hasn't found a way to persecute us for our thoughts yet. just our phone calls and internet usage. . . . .

By exterminate I meant in a "generic" sense. Oh we are persecuted for our thoughts, I am experiencing it today.

Gotta go I am late for my next project, drilling child locks into my H3, LOL.

Man!..This thread went from the HUMMER HI Sign, to exterminating mindless trend followers..Geezzz, will you guys lighten up!!

Racepet..I think HUMMER is a 2000's Fashion trend and if I dare say, a fashion statement..for whatever reason...But that is the coolness about Being and American...we all do this in some way or another everyday, with the clothes we wear, to the cars we drive..if it trips this guy's trigger differently than the next..this is where I say, WHO CARES!?! As long as it makes them happy and ain't hurtin nobody..Like those little damn rice burners that buzz like a pissed off bumblebee in a coffee can..or the numb nuts that has so much bass coming out of his trunk, the asphalt beneath his car is cracking..This is mindless IMO and not my cup of tea..But hey, I thought glasspacks and cut-outs was cool too in my day too, and my parent's age group thought that was mindless...to which I replied; WHO CARES?!?!

So remember, people are untitled to how they look at things and why they want them for, it's their reasons and it's not my places to vocally pass judgment...Who Cares?

BTW..I saw a fat, blue haired, 60ish woman wearing a bathrob, jump me off the line at a stop light with an H2, with 22" wheels..her tag said "Granny's"..So I guess you'll have to shoot for an H1 now..

I think it strange to identify with a generalization plus I did not specificy this site, I peruse 4 different sites. Sorry for the delay but I got stuck between the torsion bar and the exhaust.

I have been waving to all of them. I get about a 50% response.

I drive an H2 and a Mustang convertable and haven't gotten squat from either crowd , in spite of my attempt to be all warm and fuzzy. I've noticed when I drive my H2 fewer people will let me out into traffic and I've had a few episodes where people actually gunned it when I'd go to turn left. I've had mine only a few weeks and have been made to feel like I'm single handedly causing global warming just driving to the grocery store. I finally got up the nerve to visit FUH2.com and couldn't believe what people who have way too much time on their hands have been up to. I actually get all excited when I see another Hummer, whether it be a 2 or a 3(haven't seen any 1's)...I feel like I'm not all alone in this world going to hell in a handbasket, thanks to people like me.....so please...WAVE TO ME!!!!

I get about a 50/50 mix of fellow HUMMER owners waving back..H3 folks are real stuck up pricks in my area, more so than the H2 folks..How weird is that?

Oh BTW...

I had a guy flip me off yesterday coming home from work in front of my house. Second time in a month for no reason other thatn the Hummer grill coming at him. I dequickly used the short turning radius and went after him, giving him some horn and brights for a few blocks.

Just get sick of pansies like him!!!

There does seem to be some kind of code, I get the same waves and nods from both H2 drivers as H3 drivers........it is kind of nice to be that way because we must all love our hummers.

I wave at every H2 or H3 I see and have yet to have anyone wave back.

Next time try waving all of your fingers. (J/K)

I always wave, sometimes I catch myself waving when I'm in my semi, and then they look at me like I'm some kind of nut job.

maybe it's just something in the water where you live.

people that buy H2s are the coolest on the planet, even though we're single handedly destroying it. i wave back if i see someone wave, but during all the freeway shootings in southern cal a decade and a half ago, i stopped paying attention to other drivers. looking at someone could get you shot back then. now i only admire convertible cleavage at stop lights.
