For those of you who leased your H3, how much are you paying for it every month and how much was your down payment/due at signing. Just curious...

I have a standard package, 27 months, 10,000miles/year. I pay $184 a month and the down payment was $600.

wow. that just seems really cheap. so they expect your truck to only depreciate in value by 5000 dolars. is that all you pay? are you leaving something out.

yes this doesnt make sense. in a lease your supose to pay the estimated depretiation of the car and a rental fee. in 2 years 30,000 miles the car is going to depreciate way more than $3000. They'll lose that driving it off the lot. Sounds like this is just the rental fee or something. You cant lease a dodge neon for that much.

So hummerguy, you were kidding about that $126 a month! For a moment there i thought i was getting ripped off!

Bigwood, thats all i am paying. My aunt gave me a retiree plan and that knocked off $1000 from the lease. I also had a dodge ram and for some reason (i don't understand why) that also knocked off $1000. There was a big sale going on at the time i got it. My cousin got a luxury package for $242 a month and $1000 down.

Tina what are you leaving out? That totals 5500+ did you trade in a car as well for the down. Something doesn't jive here. Way too cheap!!

I was told on a base with no options 5 speed I could get a lease at $299 with $500 down. So if you have a base with nothing then maybe I can see it with the $2 grand discounts. As far as the lux.....no way. not with only $1000 down, sorry aint gonna happen.

I know, i couldn't believe how cheap it was either! But thats the truth! I have no reason to lie! No, i did not trade in any car. I'm looking at my receipt right now to see if i missed anything.
It says: 27mo (base 10kmi/yr) conquest & bonus, $3000 reseter??(I can't read the salesman's handwriting). First the salesman told me it would be $242 with $507 down. But i was able to get a retiree plan in time so then it became $184 with $600 down. As i said, there was a big sale at the time. Sorry, i'm no good at explaining this well. My other cousin got an h3 a month before i did in June and she is paying $337 a month and 0 down.

perhaps hummer isnt expecting these trucks to depreciate in value much over time. Unlike the h2

Holy crap I must have the highest payment here! **** I pay $567 a month! My truck was Just over $38,000 and I get 15,000 miles a year, but I also had a truck that I still owed $17,000 (even after paying on it for 3 years) which they only gave me $11,000 for, but I have a really awesome boss at work, who gave me part of my raise that I have set up through next year to cover any negative amount was going to have and I even put down $3,000 myself. So I am hoping when I turn it in at the end of the 39 month lease for another H3 my payments will go down quite a bit. I am used to paying this though. I made a stupid choice by trading in a suv 4 years early for another SUV and had that one for 3 years and in April I was looking around and whether I traded it in now or waited 2 more years I was going to get screwed because the value on the SUV I had was terrible! I traded it in in April and it was the best choice I have made! I defintely earned the hard way with the other Suv I had, but live and learn I guess!

To Jen813:
It seems that the higher the gas prices, the more incentives the dealers were offering, some people in this forum got FREE GAS (from what i read here, quite a bit of it )......so that is one factor....also we don't all have the same exact options in our H3s. Maybe you have more options than some with lower payments.

I paid $1650 for a down payment, and my payments are $440 a month, with the lease. I am definitely buying the lease out at the end though. Since there is a big Hummer craze in Chicago, I think I probably pay more then people in other areas. The interest on the lease was cheaper then financing for a full purchase at the time, by about 3 or 4 % points. Now I see 0 down 299/month lease deals. Oh well, at least I have one and have not had any problems with it after 17000 miles (except a possible leaky CV boot)
