to post pictures, say that you wanted to post one in your reply to this post, from your hard drive. hit "post reply". right below the text box you will see "click here to upload" and "embed picture in post". check the box next to "embed picture in post", then click "click here to upload" and find it on your computer, select it, then ok. let me know if this helps!!

i hit "post reply", and as i type in the text box, the only thing below it is a box below the smileys that says file, the box directly below the text box says "either the feature is disabled, or you do not have sufficient permission".

shortbus, have a look at this picture, when you hit "post reply" (not fast reply), does your screen resemble this one?

Go to " My Profile" there is an option where you can upload a photo, but if the file is too large it will not load.

your picture has to be hosted somewhere, like a HF gallery. then, go into the sig section and input the link and the "img" brackets. dilo, setup a gallery, and let me know which picture you want used, and ill fix it for you.

You can use a free service like www.photobucket.com You create an account that allows you to upload your pictures and store them on the web site. Then, when you want to post a large picture, you can cut and paste a link to your picture that the site generates for you automatically which is underneath your picture in your photo album. All you do is replace the "IMG" lettering with "image" and the picture will show up in the post. You can copy the link and paste it into any post and the picture will show up. I use Photobucket and it is a really great service. You can even order prints of your pics from them. And for FREE, you can't go wrong.

Then you can also use your Microsoft Picture manager comes with XP and open you pictures with that and resize them to be less in size, but still clear and crisp, then download those to PHOTOBUCKET and reload your newly resized picture image.
