How can I tell if I have a Bose system?

I saw somewhere that it can be verified by looking at the numbers at the glove box...but can't remember exactly what that site was or what the number. Anyone?

Well, I know that on an H2 if you have a Bose LUX system, you would have a code in your glovebox of
Y91 or Y92 Option. As far as H3's I got NO CLUE!!!

I see a Y91 code in my glovebox, but not sure if that is it.

Ok...now I'm confused. If you have the H3 with the 6 disc or nav head unit then you have the "Monsoon" stereo system with a 200w "Monsoon" amplifier. Where's this Bose stuff coming from?

Well, that could be me.
I'm trying to add an aftermarket stereo to my H3, and I see adapters for bose and non bose...I don't have a 6 disc or a nav and don't know which one to use.

Maybe call the Dealer you bought it from, or check your original invoice!

Just a little inside info... used to work for Declo Elctronics, now Delphi Electronics - Bankrupt... whatever... but when Monsoon originaly was introduced they purchased the products speakers, electronics, and later technologies directly from Bose... they just "rebadged" them as theirs... not really abreast of that area any more.. so who knows today...
