Crest Hummer in Birmingham AL is where this "thing" is located. They still have a 07 red Tactical on the lot. I was surprised so I went over and looked at it. Then I found out why it's still there. $5k worth of custom red leather interior, steering wheel and shifter. A number of their H3's had nitto tires and aftermarket wheels added.

The days of the H2's are obviously slowing down as far as sales go. There were only 6 out front of the dealership, and 1 in the back lot that had just arrived. That's in comparsion with the 50 or so H3's. Back in late October when I bought mine, there were atleast 20 H2's sitting in the back holding lot ready to be prepped.

I never understood why anyone lowered thier trucks (or Hummers now). Don't you buy a truck (or Hummer) to be able to haul things or go places that you can't with car?

The fake hood vent bugs me, but bad enough to do that.

Some of us have a reason to lower their Hummer.  My Mom is 88 years old and I take her to the Doctors and for groceries twice a week.  She couldn't safely get into the H3 so I lowered it 3".  It helped a lot.  I still haul my sh!t around OK.

I've been by that place, not in a while though.  I remember always seeing the H1s and thinking how cool they were   I didn't think we had anyone else from Alabama on here though.

I DO understand that; that is how we got our 06 for such a good price. The 1st owner was older, had cancer and the Cemo made it hard for her to get in and out of it so she traded it back in. Not knocking anyone, just a personal preference. Like Bob said "His rig, his choice"
