Hood scoop & 3" drop at dealership

Snapped some photos of a 08 Alpha with non-functional hood scoop while at the dealership today. It had been lowered 3" as well as colored matched bumpers. Not my cup of tea, but thought some of the Bling-bling crowd might be interested.

Yea dont like it, but the grille sure does look expensive

Maybe they lowered it for a really short person. I'm not into the lowered car thing so doesn't do anything for me.

there's a H2 with that same grill over here,,, looks kinda weird,,,, you almost think it's a cadi coming at you from the front

It looks ugly lowered! The hood scoop has to go as well.

I hope my puking will stop in the next hours...

Yuk...that is ugly...the grille insert just takes away from the signature Hummer slats.

I think I threw up in my mouth a little.  Why take a hummer and try to make it look like a scion?

For all those puking you can get Emetrol at any drugstore, I had to run out and get to stop throwing up myself.
 

That grill is lame, especially since it sits on top of the original grill and you can still see the vertical risers. Kinda like a Pep-Boys bling piece. Maybe they'll add spinner wheel covers and triple windshield wipers with aero flaps.

I kinda like the fake hood scoop, don't think I'd pay much for it though.  The rest of it slurps!  Especially that front end - it looks like it's smiling at me.

i didn't think i'd like the lowered look from the description, but i think it looks pretty good.  if you're going offroad, i see no realy problem with it.  i agree the aftermarket grill doesn't work at all - the OEM needs to go back on quickly.

isn't the grill on a hummer like football and beer?  it just not the same without it

I never understood why anyone lowered thier trucks (or Hummers now). Don't you buy a truck (or Hummer) to be able to haul things or go places that you can't with car?
 
The fake hood vent bugs me, but bad enough to do that.

All of you blasting "LOWERED" HUMMERS, I can tell you the reason I did as the wheel wells are TOO BIG when I put on my 24's with lopros, so for an asthetic value, I lowered mine so it LOOKED PURTIER!!!
 

 
I didn't SLAM it so it still is great in the winter with all the snow we get here!!!
