Has anyone put those bug shield on their H3?  It's either made of plastic or fiberglass and fit toward the front of the hood.  I swear, bugs are ganna become an indangered species with me on the road!!

You can get a Bra if your 3 needs support,    but I have never seen a 3 with a bug deflector.
FYI the nose was designed to have the grill wrap over the front of the hood and fender fronts so protecting hood/fender paint is no longer an issue.  However, I do agree that 3s are responsible for bug carnage via the windshield!!!!!   I try for mostly mosquitos and flies myself.

Neither my 2 or my 3's need support.  They stand up and out on their own.  But they do love bugs.  Not as much as the local exterminator but almost.

I love the big bugs! They splatter more....i am also a slave to the windshield washer fluid. It makes me feel better, but it's effect is minimal. I don't see the point of the bra (for the h3 of course) Seems like it'd wear the paint. Plus the look bad.

Yea, I don't want a bra.  The look is ugly.  I'm just tired of flinching everytime i get the big ones!! lol

Interesting how it costs $280 installed on an H3 and $600 on a Porsche

YES, I hope this helps

I ordered and installed a EGR Bug Deflector made for the 2006 & 2007 H3.
This is a brand new item for EGR and there was no photo of the product
It only comes in smoke color and looks pretty good right behind my black grille.
The unit cost about $75.00 and goes on like all the others (no drilling)
I have a 500 mile road trip planned for next week.
If this works or doesn't work. I will report back
I'm tired of fixing small chips in my windshield

I posted that e-mail back in September.
I can say that I have received less bugs and no dings as of yet.
I'm sure it is working to some degree.
If rocks are headed your way, there is probably little
you can really do
I ordered my deflector from Summitt Racing
EGR SKU is 391311

When really big bugs hit, sometimes they leave a pile of little white things behind, in the middle of the yellow slime, that look like little tiny bits of rice.  Are those things eggs?  They really freak me out!

I was on autoanything.com earlier tonight and they had one on there for the H3. If I remember right, it was around $70

I just hope it cuts down on the bugs alittle. I think I go through more wiper fluid than gas.
