Stars finally won on a powerplay in the 4th OT. San Jose is gone. Go Stars!!!

I did not even try to stay awake for that entire game last night.  Yikes.  Finally rid of the Sharks.   Dallas in Detroit Thursday night.
I watched the Pens game, they reeled back and let the Rangers back in, but very entertaining.  So much for an Original Six cup match. 
 
As to the Battle of Pennsylvania.........I have seen teams at the bottom or close to it, fight and claw their way in, and just never give up
to end up being pretty tough to put away later for the team(s) that were at the top.  It's all a matter of timing, and having a good solid
playoff run.  Flyers are in, and they won't be tossed out easy.  The Pens have the talent to do it.
 
Hmm..........a Detroit v Pittsburg Stanley Cup would be great for both citites. 
The last time we played the Flyers for the cup in 1997, HOW SWEEP it was,  4-0 Detroit. 
 
Just have this little problem to get rid of before the shot at Lord Stanley's cup.............called Dallas. 

They seem to have a little faith and destiny on their side. Wonder if their luck is going to run out.

I have read some interesting predictions at the Hockey sites, news papers, sports blogs.....One said Wings in 5, most said Wings in 6, a few said Wings in 7, and some knuckleheads  picked the Stars.
I'm thinkin Dallas better do something in the adjustment department very quickly or .................should I dare????  ... I smell another possible sweep.
The Stars forgot to show up for game 1, Saturday will be the key to this series.  If the Wings have puck possession 75% of the time, and Dallas can't force turnovers, the Wings will be in good shape going into Dallas next week. 
 
I will be watching the Pens and Flyers tonight.  Bad mojo for the Flyers to loose Timonen....that's gonna hurt....ouch.

Stars got their rears kicked in game 1. I think 4 OT games in the playoffs and the 4OT game have done them in.

Stars lost 2-1 and are down in the series 2-0. I think their luck has run out

The Flyers gave it a heck of a try for two periods...........but Pens win!
 
Now we head across state with a 2 - 0 lead
