Does there seem to be a common denominator in the West?
The wings beat Nashville everywhere in that last game. 54 shots, Ellis has 52 saves. We had them in the corners, off the boards, up the middle, on the toss in, on defense, in scoreing chances, and the saber toothed kittys still tied it up with less than a minute to go after pulling the goalie.
Thank goodness that Franzen was one of the hotest wings down the stretch and put them out in less than 2:00 of OT!
You guys are beotchin at that azz Avery, how bour TooToo, he friggin intentionally stepped on Draper's back behind the goal, and not just once!
Claims he was just trying to get out of the way.
I remember when Avery played for Detroit, he had like 15-16 points in two seasons, he is just a skating MOUTH!

Wings 3, Preds 0. Shut out for Ozzie......only 20 shots. There were some great Hits in that game too. Wings put up 43 shots on Ellis, and the kid did a good job the entire series. Glad we can move on now.

BB........I watched almost all of that game. Makes ya wonder why they had to work so hard in the series when they finished like that? Never hurts to have Cara in the box on a power play!
The Calgary v Sharks game tomorrow determines who the Wings play. The Caps or Flyers will be etched tommorow as well. Wednesday, we will all know whaaazzzz up with the next round.

I sometimes wonder myself, is it because they just played like crap.....or is it the extra bonus cash they get per game, to dominate the game like they did tonight and finish with a shutout.....I'll take it
but still make me wonder........
