It's still a breaking story.  He was a great actor.  I guess his performance as the Joker will go down in filming history as his last movie.

Yeah, I saw where they weren't sure if it was an overdose or suicide yet. I thought he was great in " A Knight's Tale".

I was driving down the road and heard this on the radio. They say he was pretty clean, didn't get in trouble or use drugs (at least never got caught). I wish I could say that I'm sad, It's a shame though. Feel bad for his 2 yr old daughter more than anything. He was a good actor. Another River Pheonix. Damned shame

I just heard someone say he died from a chronic case of "Dik Poisoning" that he contracted while filming Broke Back Mountain.

I was shocked ny this news, didn't see that coming.  He'll be missed.

I feel bad for his litle daughter too....not him...just another celeb dead from being a rich moron.....at least I just heard on fox that he OD'd on pills.

did he own a hummer?  is that why this is news here?  heard the same as impy on fox this morning that it was some kind of sleeping pill OD.  but, it was on Fox, which is like getting your news from the Jerry Springer show . . . . . . . .

I think its sad.  Not that this guy died.  But that thousands of adults and children die of ODs every year, but the country doesn't seem to care until that person was in movies or TV.  If the guy was too stupid to stay away from drugs, then good riddance.  It's called natural selection.

(unless it TRUELY was ACCIDENTAL from scripts and not recreational drugs.... but that doesn't help with my rant, so don't read this sentence.....)

Nothing against you guys showing sympathy, I'm just a litte jaded considering my neighbors 13 girl OD on oxycontin a couple of years ago and it certainly didn't make CNN.  Where was the countrys sympathy then?  Where were the midnight vigils, press coverage and public outcry?  Oh wait, she wasn't a movie star.  Nevermind........
