I purchased a 07 H3x for my wife in October. Since that time we have had to replace the Navigation system/Radio twice. This time they will also replace the amplifier. The first one died and displayed characters that appeared to be Chinese on the screen and a message that said CHECK CD ROM. Radio would not turn off or change channels and subwoofer popped. The second time the unit flickered on and off and died. In addition, the wipers will turn on and cycle once or twice and stop. There is a hum in the dash like a fan noise but the fan is off. The engine will change pitch while driving on a flat surface at a steady speed and without a change in load or acceleration. The horn will honk with one tone, then two tones, then not at all. No question bit that we have some serious electrical problems. My concern is that the vehicle electrical systems are compromised and that it is just a matter of time before the car dies at an inopportune time.
Anyone experience any of these probelms? Any solutions. We are working with the dealer and have contacted HUMMER. Like the vehicle however this one just does not seem to be mfg. properly.

Good god, it sounds like it's haunted.

I hope the dealer is able to fix it for you.

Fire Engine Red probably best describes it. We likke the H3 but for these problems. Not a vehicle she can trust or rely upon unfortunately. Thanks

In the continuing epic drama of the electrical system Gremlins this morning as my wife was getting ready to leave for the HUMMER dealer for her second visit in two days (2 hour drive each direction) the electronic door looks did not work. The lights did not flash as they do when the lock and alarm are opened and disarmed. So just for the heck of it she tried the spare set. That did not work either. When she pushed the alarm button on the key fob it gave a flat, less than enthusiastic alarm sound. Probably the same level of noise as a small dog passing gas. Remember the horn does not always work. She opens the door with the key and since the alarm had not been disarmed the it then went off in full glory and continued until it reset itself.
Well the dealership has the thing now. My wife is driving a loaner HUMMER even though they wanted her to take a Saturn sedan. Nothing wrong with Saturns but that is a far cry from a HUMMER.
This is getting old fast.

Just keep in mind the lemon law: When life gives you lemons, find someone who life gave them tequilla.

Wow, that sucks bud. Once they fix the problem, your wife will love it. They truly are an incredible ride, I've put 36,000 trouble free miles on mine in 6 months. My last loaner was a new $75000 cadillac, it was great. Good luck

Wolf....do you have an aftermarket alarm system? How about remote start or anything like that added on?
