Just wondering if a kit for a colorado or canyon will work???
Magna was going to make one. However they said there not going to now. Saying that Gm will offer a V-8 H3 in 08.
http://www.magnacharger.com/ this is there website some of the techs still want to make it but the owner is worried about sales. I think if we had enough push they would consider it.

I have also got the not yet response. But I did find this company in Denver that does a custom one. NOT the one in the picks which looks like the Preadator unit, but does use a similar s/c. The company is called dashworks.com Check them out. Pricey but I emailed and they said their kit is good for 375HP at the crank. Assuming about 25% loss for the driveline, about 240 hp at the wheels!!

for that kind of money you could put a v8 in the H3
goodlooking unit but they sy you have to have there cold
air box and that is why the cost is so high.
you can get a vortec charger for about $1800.oo I would
like to see them just make the brckets for the public than i could
do the rest my self.

Who has taken some pictures from SEMA 2006 from the Hummer H3 (Wheel to Wheel stand) with the Antonov supercharger?
If you have them sent them to:

Supercharged Hummer H3 to Debut at Las Vegas’s SEMA Show
So whats the big deal? There were numerous supercharged H3s at the SEMA show last year — what makes this one different? Well, this is the first two-speed super charger to be put in a high-performance car or SUV. The Hummer H3 will be displayed at Antonov’s (the manufacturer) booth inside the show. The real fun will be on the proving grounds where a similar system has been installed in a Ford Mustang GT. According to Antonov, the torque and power at the rear wheels of the GT is boosted 58% with the two-speed supercharger. And although they haven’t hooked the H3 up to any computers to test the output, they “confident of a similar performance boost for the Hummer.” Worlds fastest H3? I wouldn’t be surprised…
To see this supurb Antonov supecharger in action goto: Good movie's with big sound' s.
Also a lot of detailed pictures of this combined Rotrex/Antonov supercharger with the Antonov AMM 2-speed set up module.

The kits from Wheel to Wheel are now available. I just bought a 2007 H3 and we are installing the kit this week. I can post pictures and dyno numbers if anyone wants to see them.
How is the availability of the other kits right now?

How did it work out? Did the install go smoothly? How about the results? Were you able to dyno it before and after/
Thanks

We are a little behind on getting the install done, as we had a couple huge projects to get finished. However, the truck should be driving today. We did run into a few differences with the 2007 that required us to make some modifications to the kit. Because of the air pump, we had to design a new intercooler mounting bracket to clear a connector up at the cylinder head. This also required a slight modification to the intercooler. That was not a major deal, and has been done. We also had to relocate the air pump slightly by fabricating a new mounting bracket for it. Again, no big deal. The 2007 also has a different water bottle and windshield sprayer bottle, so we ran into interference with the resonator/air filter box. We are in the process of getting the tool modified so this won't be an issue anymore. I'm hoping to get the truck on the dyno late today and get some preliminary power numbers. I don't think I'll have enough time to perfect the tune, but it should be close. I can follow up next week with the updated data. I'll also get some pictures up today.

Sorry to resurrect the old supercharger post, but I trying to pick out a Christmas present and visiting this topic again. I was wondering if we have any members that might have really went down the supercharger route?

The Head Unit looks like a Vortech (Will have Oil Lines) or Powerdyne (Internal Belt or the new gear driven with self contained oil) , Your Boost is more than likely 6-8 psi. Did it come with a blow-off valve? Most of those type superchargers (centrifuge) use about 13% of your HP.
Note that Centrifuge types are not that linear, as your revs increase so will boost. Roots-type are little more linear.
I would get a boost gauge and A/R ratio gauge or a DashHawk to keep an eye on rich /lean conditions. Did you get replacement injectors?
Having the Alpha come out stymies the aftermarket to make power-adders for a 5 cylinder.
As far as putting a V8 in, a Crate motor almost cost as much, then you have to get wiring harness, PCM, motor mounts, exhaust, change shocks and springs, front suspension parts. So I don't know were you get off saying it's cheaper, if you want to do it RIGHT.
I see STS has a setup coming out, thats a good company, when I was in the Dodge arena I knew a few guys had them on there Hemi's and were getting tremendous performance with little boost.

Mountainbiker,
I have a Wheel to Wheel Rotrex supercharger on my 07 H3. It's been on there for about 7 months, and over 10,000 miles. So far it works flawlessly and the gas mileage isn't bad either. It is headed over to Roush this month for certification testing so it is 50 state legal. I can get you some additional information if you would like. W2W is now shipping '07 kits for the public.
